Founded in 1997 as an independent consulting company under a different name, I Venture, Inc has had a rich history.
Its journey begins through a connecting in the financial services industry. A need arose to build an ecommerce platform to replace a dying telemarketing sales effort. The company’s product was effective, but the personnel required to manage and maintain a complicated sales team proved daunting. Less than a year after the project began, the online division I Venture built had completely replaced the entire sales team, with one employee, through a highly targeting email and SEO search optimization campaign.
During this time, a myriad of opportunities arose across dozens of new categories. The Internet boom was in full force, and unharnessed creativity was at an all-time high. There was nothing the Internet couldn’t do. The company marketed and assisted with various ecommerce platforms selling anything from car seat covers to digital downloads. It sold through subscription models, one demand purchases, direct download, traditional shipping, and service based ecommerce.
One category that was interesting in particular was the health & beauty industry. Through competitive research it was apparent that there was a severe lack of correct information revolving around proper skin care anti-aging procedures. I Venture partnered with a leading dermatologist and skin care experts to build a education based ecommerce site tailored to solving common aging concerns. This site quickly became one of the largest in the US in sales, and received top awards including a five time fastest growing company, and Inc. 500 award.
Once in the health and beauty, more opportunities arose. I Venture was charged with creating a business in the accredited educational space training beauty professionals. It chose to do so and quickly became the dominant beauty school in the area and expanded its locations to serve a worldwide clientele.
From there, other opportunities in other categories continued to arise. Real Estate companies, accounting firms, medical pharmacies, automotive dealers all became active clients and continue to have successful campaigns.

Entreprenuer and ecommerce pioneer, Chris Taylor started his first business at 6 years old, and sold his first business when he was 16 at which point he enrolled in college to pursue his interest in computer science. While on academic and citizenship honor roles, he realized formal schooling may not be most impactful path for him. He then decided to put college on the sideline and pursue his love for business and computers, founding multiple businesses over the subsequent 15 years, including what is now one of the leading Digital Agencies in Utah, I Venture, Inc.
Jeffrey has been telling stories since he was a young child. After watching The Empire Strikes Back at age 8 he started on his first production. An epic space adventure full of amazing alien life. With the cast and story ready young Jeffrey set out to make his film, however budget constraints and dinner prevented the project from ever going into production. His first completed work a few years later was an hour long fishing special which received rave reviews. It has been his passion ever since to tell stories through motion picture.
With extensive experience in video production in all its forms including full length feature films, Jeff heads up the video production division of I Venture with a creative spin on driving interest and traffic to a brand. Jeff has extensive directing, editing, and storyboarding experience and currently also works with C street studios and other top movie production companies.
